The Friends of Africa network is an online global brand club of Africa's cheer
leaders.
By harnessing the infinite power of digital communication, we are building a global
network of ONE MILLION Ambassadors of Hope who are rooting for Africa.

The Celebrating Africa project takes the lead in presenting a different face
of Africa, one that highlights the success and ingenuity of this continent and the
people who call it home.
Officially endorsed by the Local Organizing Committee as a World Cup Legacy Project,
Celebrating Africa strives to sustain the camaraderie and sense of common purpose
beyond 2010 and beyond football. We are in effect building a brand club of Africa’s
cheerleaders in the African continent and the diaspora. This club comprises of individuals,
businesses, governments and organizations that are champions of Africa’s economic
and cultural revival and who are relentlessly working towards or supporting the
emergence of a continent on the brink of greatness!

The Celebrating Africa project is comprised of:
- Celebrating Africa Festival: A cultural and business extravaganza hosted annually in Johannesburg, South Africa
- Friends of Africa Network: An online brand club of Africa’s cheers leaders
- Corporate Citizenship: Providing access to education for children of this continent
- Africa In Dialogue: An intellectually stimulating weekly radio show that engages Africa on matters of culture, wealth, heritage and history
